That's the average number of Mercs I notice per day in mumbai. In any other city I'd be drooling on darshan of one once in a while. Funny place this is. I guess the count would be around 3 for the BMW and Lexus. And a porshe or a beetle is I guess quite easy to catch if you take a walk down Marine drive. Of course, for people who stand in long lines to get on a lift I guess its all pretty normal :P

I had a similar experience in Chennai in Jan this year. Few years ago I would have barely managed to see 1 or 2 Mercs per day. But during during my recent trip to Chennai I saw atleast 5 - 10 Mercs per day. Some signs that the noveau rich are flaunting their money power. Maybe the Income Tax dept has stopped raiding the people who buy these cars.
Think these mercs are not allowed to move out of colaba, cuffe parade and marine drive. The same way Autos are not allowed to move down beyond bandra... :P
yeah, maybe the location has to do with it.. but this place is an absolute paradise for car lovers :D
